When we ask someone if they are okay
let us be kind
and authentic
and
compassionate<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not because we are supposed to
but because we are all struggling in some large or small way
and we need each other to lean on<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do you ever notice when people say they\u2019re okay
but they have sadness in their voice and pain in their eyes
and you just know they feel alone<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How many people think they have to feel that loneliness
instead of asking for a listening ear
because the thought of asking for help
seems to be a more difficult task than living with the pain
and what a tragedy that is<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let us be gentle with others
because we have no idea what our seemingly small acts of kindness
are doing for those we didn\u2019t know
had that much pain to bare <\/p>\n\n\n\n
